Over the weekend, Trainee Search Dog Merryn, and her handler, Matt, headed up to the Lake District for a national @MRSearchDogsEng training course with other dogs and handlers from across the country.

Over the past few months, some of our team members have been dedicating additional time to train for the @MountainResqUK Cas-Care award. This builds on the core team first-aid training, introducing more complex patient management in both trauma and medical illness.

Super 3-days in the Peaks with @MRSearchDogsEng. Bigger areas, harder terrain, steeper ground and harsher conditions. Merryn did brill. Thanks to the volunteer instructors and bodies as always, especially on Saturday which was ‘slightly damp’.

Over the weekend team members helped to marshal the Moonlight Memory Walk in Falmouth, alongside colleagues from @EastSearch.

The event was in support of @CHSW. Well done to all those who took part - it was a pleasure to be involved.
