➡️ CAMEO IS ON THE EPL FOR MEDICAL REASONS - Cameo is a senior cat with diabetes mellitus. His condition was well regulated in his previous home with insulin and a special diet. Behaviorally, he allows medical handling and can easily be given insulin. However, we cannot manage diabetes effectively in the shelter setting. Cameo needs urgent placement out of the shelter to keep his diabetes regulated. This condition/diagnosis means that CAMEO will be give very little time for rescue/foster/adoption. 🔥🔥🔥🔥

What my friends at ACC say about me: I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe. Cameo tolerates attention and petting but appears fearful or stressed in the shelter. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. I am a sweet, social, older gentleman, looking for the perfect forever home! ❤️ 😻❤️ 😻❤️ 😻

➡️ MINION IS ON THE EPL FOR MEDICAL REASONS - Blood tests and clinical signs suggest that he has a rare condition called feline hypothyroidism. We have started therapy but he needs care and attention that we cannot provide. This condition/diagnosis means that MINION will be give very little time for rescue/foster/adoption. 🔥🔥🔥🔥

A volunteer writes: Minion....What a strange given name...Well, Minion was found roaming around in a large apartment building. A handsome kitty he is, dressed in a thick scruffy tabby coat, completed with white mittens and boots. I love his face, as round as a goldfish bowl and his deep green eyes. A bear of a cat! Minion might look a bit like a grumpy kitty but he is not. He is quite sweet and emerges slowly but surely from his hideout as I call his name. I imagine he might think to himself:"my name is not Minion...but I forgive you as I know you mean well!". Minion leans into pets and appreciates having his head scratched. Temptations are OK but Delectables are so much tastier. Do not worry, I have more in my bag...In a nutshell, I have to see more of Minion but so far, so good, he is a very nice kitty I would love to see going very soon to a safe, giving and loving home. Minion is waiting for you at the Manhattan Care Center. Addendum: sweet Minion was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and is being treated with medication that will likely pick up his appetite and boost his energy. What a gentle soul he is.... Minion appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for cat parents with either an average amount of cat experience or demonstrate a basic understanding of typical cat behavior. ❤️ 😻❤️ 😻❤️ 😻

For a New Family to Know: He is a affectionate, talkative, independent cat who prefers contact on his own terns. He spends most of his time where people are, or at the window. He has been reported to play rough, and chase bugs. In his last home he received interactive play about once a week. He had access to a carpet/fabric, vertical scratching post. Marble has been report to swat or nip when pet for too long. He is a very vocal cat, and will let his family know if food is taking too long. He eats Friskies seafood sensations and Blue Buffalo. Marble is looking for a quiet environment where he can decompress and be his best kitty self. ❤️ 😻❤️ 😻❤️ 😻

For a New Family to Know: Tomas was described as a very good cat and loving. Once warmed up, he enjoys cuddling and being pet. He is gentle and relaxed. ❤️ 😻❤️ 😻❤️ 😻
