I like in a nonfiction book when all the sudden there's a big break for a pictures section. The author's like "oh by the way these are the guys I was telling you about."
@adamha4freedom@TIME Ummm as US immigration rates have increased over decades, child deaths have decreased. Immigration is currently decreasing as predicted child deaths are increasing. There’s no link (esp since this is a global issue) but that’s the graph you asked for lol #realitycanbetough
@andrewspinners@DrNeilStone Andy, with love…being surprised that a virus was in the body of someone who was given that vaccine is really giving “everything is a conspiracy if you don’t understand how anything works” vibes
@Deconn@DrNeilStone 40 studies of 5M+ people confirm no link between vaccines & autism. The “waste” is using taxpayer resources to redo conclusive research bc some people don’t like the answers, while cutting other critical child health research. Autism hasn’t risen, diagnostic tests have improved.
@LarryLivermore@mattyglesias Gun control, universal health care, strong public assistance, affordable housing programs. Basic needs = less crime. This is also reflected in the cities listed: i.e., Japan has more comprehensive welfare assistance, esp. for homeless & children, & lower crime rates than China
@CapitanoJacko@mattyglesias That’s because of strict gun control, universal health care, strong public assistance and affordable housing programs. When basic needs are met, crime goes down
