Know any undergraduates trying to get a grasp on how electrochemistry works in a lab? Check out this comic-based video to learn more about electrochemical techniques commonly used in battery and electrochem labs! https://t.co/G3WZP2doI0
@CocoonitL @NU_ChemE Amazing poster! I love the clarity of all of your figures! If you had more resources (i.e. time, money, etc.) are there any other experiments you would have liked to have performed to support your initial findings?
@JenLi67269204 @sofiakcatalina @MaryLouNadeau@paigekru@AlexisDubs Hi Jen! This is something we are still finalizing in our model. We are hoping to have a total estimated system cost based on the final sizing parameters for our battery which will give us a better idea of how well we compare to current energy sources!
@danteshepherd @sofiakcatalina @MaryLouNadeau@paigekru@AlexisDubs We have some level control and temperature alarms that we have explicitly outlined in our report; however, it would be helpful if we added those directly to the P&IDs. Thanks!
@AntonRepnikov @sofiakcatalina @MaryLouNadeau@paigekru@AlexisDubs The experiments we ran were aimed at finding the kinetic parameters that are associated with the air and zinc redox rxns. From these kinetic parameters, it is possible to model the overall battery performance and evaluate the costs associated with using the selected electrodes.
We're feelin' good today, so how about a ticket giveaway?
