For all the parents out there dealing with a decision... let me give you another perspective

In 2018 my wife and I went in for our 20? week ultra sound at Beth Israel in Boston... the rep was very quiet the whole time, something seemed off. My wife & I were first time parents... didn't have much context. The doctor pulled us into her office and told us our sons nuchal fold was abnormally large... she went on to say there is a significant increased chance of Down Syndrome and even Turner's syndrome... talked about options to terminate the pregnancy. My wife was inconsolable, rightly so ... even thinking about it now brings back a lot of heavy emotions because of how hard of a day it was... hard...

I did a lot of research on the topic ... my wife & I prayed non stop about it. All we could do. The doctors wanted to do an amniocentesis which has its own host of risks..run more tests...

We came to the conclusion, which was not easy... it didn't matter... no amnio, no more tests.... I felt in my soul the Lord's plan was perfect and if our son was going to have Down Syndrome we would love him and shepherd him through this world the best we could. We get what we get. Anything from the Lord was a BLESSING and I was not going to point my finger at Him

Fast forward to today... our son is going to be 8 in the fall. He is perfect. Just hit a homerun the other day... a much better baseball player than I was at his age. My best friend

I share this deeply personal story for nothing more than to give just ONE parent hope... the Lord's plan is perfect... stay the course

We British Christians would get excited when, once a year, Queen Elizabeth would make a mild but sincere reference to the love of Jesus Christ in her Christmas address.

In Charlie Kirks' Memorial service, watched by tens of millions, I just heard:
- Multiple clear presentations of the gospel from men like @robmccoyus and @DrFrankTurek with clear calls to repentance and faith
- Worship songs full of Scripture sung by tens of thousands live and millions at home
- Personal testimonies of lives transformed by the work of Christ and the witness of believers
- Demonstration and explanation of the value of marriage, child-rearing and family
- Calls to Romans 13 for the government to bear the sword for the protection of good and punishment of the wicked
- Declarations of spiritual warfare on the forces of evil and promises to endure no matter the cost
- Calls to be prophets and call the nation to repent
- More Scripture references and Bible readings than I can count
- And a widow publicly forgiving her husband's killer because Christ forgave his killers on the cross.

All of it done before, and by, the most powerful people in your nation and the world.

You guys should be on your knees thanking God for your country. It is a light to the world.

Never stop fighting for it.

There are literally people on X right now blaming the California wildfires on either Trump, who is not even president yet, or on climate change.

These idiots refuse to blame the 3 people most responsible for these fires in Los Angeles.

1. Democrat Mayer (Karen Bass) for cutting the fire fighting budget and lack of water in fire hydrants.

2. Democrat Governor (Gavin Newsom) for emptying water reservoirs throughout the state and diverting water into the ocean.

Re-read and check in on them every few months.

To all my friends who are Kamala supporters, I understand how you feel. I’ve been there. But, I promise you that the vast majority of us (regardless of party) want to see much of the same things… peace, prosperity, liberty… I know there’s concern about the path forward but I assure you that your fellow Americans do have your back. We also worry about the first amendment, crime, war, healthcare, a legal path to citizenship etc. we just have different ideas about how to get there.
Let’s work harder to listen to each-other and find ways to work together. At the end of the day, we’re all in this together - let’s act like it.
