SIGNS YOU'RE IN SURVIVAL MODE
1. You can't think past today
2. Rest makes you feel guilty
3. Self-care feels like a luxury
4. You're irritable with everyone
5. Small decisions feel impossible
6. You're running on adrenaline and caffeine
7. Everything feels urgent and overwhelming
This isn't sustainable. You need to pause.
If this is you, here’s a 24-hour survival-mode interrupt you can actually do:
Some signs you’re depressed that don’t look like “sadness”:
• Your room slowly becomes unmanageable
• You can’t explain why everything feels heavy.
• You stop replying because it’s too much.
• You cancel plans and feel relief, not guilt.
• You feel numb, not emotional.
• You keep saying “I’m fine” because you’ve forgotten what fine feels like.
It isn’t laziness.
It’s survival mode.
People that are so upset about what Subtronics said are the exact people he was talking about.
Nobody wants you at the rave if you aren’t a safe person.
What’s crazy is that he didn’t specifically target a group of people but it’s that group of people who took it personally.
Something I needed to get off my chest -
Post tour depression was so real. For two years I had a purpose everyday knowing that I had to write an album because I was gonna do massive tour promoting my work. Everything went great. The album was amazing, the tour was the best time of my life and I got to live out a lifelong dream of doing my own bus tour playing massive shows all over the country with my best friends.
But once that was over I was left with a feeling of “now what?” I had no goals, no motivation, I felt purposeless. I still got back into the studio everyday and worked on music because that’s who I am, it’s what I do, and music is my life. But still, nothing felt good.
I’m not someone who’s used to depression, so I couldn’t even recognize that something was off. It wasn’t until someone asked me “are you okay?” until I was able to ask myself that. And I wasn’t.
Once I realized that, I had motivation again. Motivation to get inspired, to set goals, and to feel like myself again. And you know what? I’m back. I’m feeling good. I can feel this music I’m making in my soul again, and I’m ready to take that next big step.
A big lesson I took from this - you never know what someone is going through. Hell, I didn’t even know what I was going through. Everything could seem like it’s going right for someone but you never really know unless you ask. And don’t be afraid to ask, it might help a lot more than you know. It did for me.
Sorry for the long post but I felt like this was something I had to let go of. Maybe someone going through a similar feeling will read this and will know, you’re not alone.
I love every single one of you
-Mitch.

@innoutburger_@misfitpatriot My favorite part of this thread is that people don’t realize this is a fan account and not the actually official account 😂
Find yourself someone who will match your energy at the festival rail, who will trade kandi under the LL dinos and hype your cosplay rave outfit when you take photos, who will get you on their shoulders so you can view the full beauty of main stage ❤️🔥
it is a credit to your character that you do not understand why people do unkind things. so instead of despairing over and picking apart someone’s lack of compassion and consideration towards you, celebrate the fact that yours is abundant enough to never treat people that way.
I will not stop fucking yapping about Lost Lands, ever.
Watching the Excision 2 hour set at the gym, causing myself extreme yearning pain.
Be annoyed or judge me or whatever…
But the only people who ARENT obsessed with Lost Lands, have never been to Lost Lands 💯
