@vivinegronhtps I agree! Mrs. Carteret is being very selfish by keeping the will a secret. She only does this to benefit herself and fails to help her half sister. I understand her father wanted to keep it a secret so she is respecting him, but I feel Janet has the right to know

This was my reaction when Miller stated Major is at fault for his sons death. Miller has the right to go off at Major since Millers son was killed as an outcome of the riot that Major started. It’s about time Miller said something... #TMOT36
Jerry argues with Josh and doesn’t want to fight against the whites b/c “Dey’re my frien’s.” This leaves me to wonder if Jerry is actually aware of his grandma’s death? If he knew that the whites had just killed his grandma would Jerry still think of the whites the same? #TMOT35
This is a visual of the many colored people who hid in bushes to avoid the violent white men. The colored man who warns Miller about what has broken out in town is hidden in a bush. It is heart breaking the fear colored people faced to be in their own town. #tmot32
@simrothrshindle I agree! I feel like this is another example of the universe siding with the whites in general. This is one of the many examples were white people always get their way! It’s like everyone and everything is teaming up against the colored people
