“The amount of points you score doesn’t determine whether you are playing good or bad. Your point total is never an indicator of how you play. It’s how hard you work and how good of a teammate you are,” Caitlin Clark
A true difference maker on and off the court.
SB: Western Hills 3, Great Crossing 2, final.
Wolverines become the first Frankfort team to beat the Warhawks, who absorb only their second loss of the season.
Life has no guarantees. Just because you work hard doesn’t mean you’ll be successful or even that you’ll play more or ever be a starter, but HARD WORK is the foundation for ANY kind of success, ON & OFF the court. In the game & in life, without the hard work, you have NO CHANCE!
Congrats to @Hills_SB Head Coach and boys basketball assistant coach Brian Redmon on becoming the all time wins leader for Western Hills Softball! Keep it rolling coach! We’re proud of you!!
First FCA huddle of the year for our group. Thanks to Mr. Ben Jeffries for coming out and sharing the message with our kids. #MorethanSoftball#HillsFamily
Playing college athletics on any level is life-changing. It’s YOUR path, YOUR journey. Don’t ever compare yourself to anyone else or anyone else’s choices. Very few athletes get the chance to play at all. Be proud of the rare opportunity you’ve been given & make the most of it!
During practice, selfless teammates will momentarily put aside their friendships & compete against each other because they care about the team’s success in competition! Practice the way you play! It’s never personal. It’s just necessary for real preparation. Competing IS caring!
None of us knows what God is doing behind the scenes. So be all in, whatever you are doing. You have no idea how He is going to use your experience as preparation for a greater purpose!
If you’re playing freshman and think you should be playing JV, go out and dominate in the freshman game
If you’re playing JV and think you should be playing varsity, go out and dominate in the JV game
Instead of telling everyone you should be playing up, go prove it.
College athletes:
These 4 years are going to go by really fast. You’ll have days where you are exhausted from agility/workouts/practice/homework. Want it all! Want the pain, want the failure, want the success, want this moment. One day, it won’t be there and you’ll wish it was.
D1 is an honor
D2 is an honor
D3 is an honor
NAIA is an honor
JUCO is an honor
You’re part of the 7% who were fortunate enough to play college athletics never forget your blessings and don’t beat yourself up 🥎🫶🏽
College athletes, if you are not welcoming freshman teammates with open arms and doing what you can to help and guide them- you’re doing it wrong. You were in their shoes once.
