To every @MHSLions student I taught and every @mhslitclub staff member I advised during the last five years, you have forever changed me and you will be missed. Best of luck to all.

We all face moments when things feel overwhelming, and that’s okay. Remember, you are not alone.

To my @MHSLions Graphic Design and Photo students:

[Katye Thompson @katye_thompson]

I streamed and watched my students graduate today. I counted over 80 seniors that I have taught that walked the stage. Proud teacher moment.

[Katye Thompson @katye_thompson]

Yesterday was so emotionally hard. I ugly cried in all of my classes.

I provided a safe space for my students and they knew I loved them. They learned cool new things and appreciated my hard work this year.

I got so many cards, emails and students waited in line for hugs.

[Katye Thompson @katye_thompson]

Yay Kas!!! Love this and you. You’re such a great designer. Can’t wait to see what you create in the future.

[Dawn Kilian @DawnKilian3]

Kasey was awarded with the ‘Outstanding Achievement in Arts A/V Technology’ award this morning at McKinney High School. A big thank you to her incredible teacher, Mrs. Katye Thompson, for her hard work and dedication to her students! Congratulations Kasey!
