Quick stat: Gen Z is set to make up over 30% of the workforce in the next few years—which means you cannot escape them.

And if you believe the internet, you probably think they’re:

But after working with them, I’ve come to a different conclusion: They’re just different.

Gen Z grew up with smartphones, instant answers, and unlimited choices.

As I reflect on 2024, one thing stands out:
It wasn’t all smooth sailing.

For those of you who’ve been part of my journey, you might’ve seen the challenges @7SpanHQ faced last year. If not, let me share:

In 2024, we made a bold move. For three months, we hit pause on taking on new projects.

Yes, three whole months.

Why?

Because we realized that scaling a company isn’t just about taking on more work. It’s about building the right foundation to handle that growth:
• Reassessing systems
• Upskilling the team
• Prioritizing quality over quantity

Was it tough? Absolutely.
Were there financial strains? You bet.

But looking back, it was the best decision we could have made.

💡 The lesson?
Business isn’t just about moving forward. Sometimes, it’s about stepping back, recalibrating, and preparing for the next leap.
