A mentally challenged man attended a wedding ceremony uninvited in Assam.
He quietly joined the guests for food, and nobody questioned him.
Before leaving, he took out ₹10 from his torn pocket and placed it in the bride’s hand as shagun 🥹❤️
After 15 years (+30) years, Bengal is healing. The boarder is getting secured, illigal entries are flushed, incomplete metro works are completed in a jet-speed. Hope is evident. Now, the citizens should return to 'work mode'.

Not many people know, but after the British left India, the princely state of Kalat did not join either India or Pakistan. On 15 August 1947, it declared independence and remained a sovereign state for more than seven and a half months, running its own administration and foreign contacts. However, everything changed on 27 March 1948.
That day, the All India Radio broadcast news of a press conference addressed by V. P. Menon, Secretary in India’s Ministry of States. The bulletin stated that the Khan of Kalat had been pressing India to accept Kalat’s accession, but that India (and Jawaharlal Nehru) would have nothing to do with it. The announcement spread rapidly and reached Kalat within hours.
The impact was immediate. The ruler of Kalat, Mir Ahmad Yar Khan, suddenly found himself diplomatically isolated. With Pakistan already exerting pressure and the outside world hearing that India had refused him, his political room for manoeuvre collapsed.
By the evening of 27 March 1948, the Khan decided to accede to Pakistan, bringing an abrupt end to Kalat’s brief period of independence and permanently altering the future of Balochistan. Kalat had ceased to exist as an independent state, and the map of South Asia had shifted once again — not by a battle or treaty, but by the power of a single radio broadcast heard across borders.
India stands resilient with around 60 days of fuel stock, the next 60 days already secured, and a robust LPG ecosystem meeting a major share of domestic demand while delivering millions of cylinders daily. Our supply chains remain strong and responsive, ensuring stability even amid global uncertainties.
Guided by Hon’ble PM @narendramodi Ji’s proactive, people-centric leadership, every effort is being made to safeguard citizens from disruptions and price volatility.
Prepared. Resilient. Responsible. India is ready.

Received a call from President Trump and had a useful exchange of views on the situation in West Asia. India supports de-escalation and restoration of peace at the earliest. Ensuring that the Strait of Hormuz remains open, secure and accessible is essential for the whole world. We agreed to stay in touch regarding efforts towards peace and stability.
