DIPAM claims discussions were held, but UNIONS say no such discussions took place.
How can DIPAM and the Finance Ministry sell a Public Sector Bank without even discussing it with the employees and officers’ unions?
How can they take such a big decision affecting thousands of employees and their families without even hearing their views?

🚨 IDBI DISINVESTMENT: STOP CLAIMING CONSULTATIONS THAT NEVER HAPPENED!
In a strong letter to @SecyDIPAM, AIBOA General Secretary S. Nagarajan has challenged the claim that employee associations were consulted on IDBI Bank’s disinvestment.
Despite strike notices dated 06.01.2026 & 26.08.2026 and attempts at conciliation, AIBOA states that DIPAM never held discussions with the Association on the proposed sale.
A profit-making public sector bank is not a commodity to be handed over to foreign investors!
PSBs are nation-building institutions. Protect IDBI. Respect employees. Stop disinvestment!
