@clairemc3@nhsfife@theRCN@clairemc3 that must be hard, especially as an NQ... I'm never in one place at the moment... currently rotating between 4/5 different areas, can be quite daunting sometimes, especially being NQ... Its good to hear from you though, miss your face π
Still here...
Community nursing has been hectic these days. Caseloads are growing and we are all buzzing about in our wee cars, still delivering high quality nursing care to people at home π‘π any other community nurses feeling this at present??

Such an exciting week, with a few emotional visits π feeling very grateful to be involved in the vaccination role out to housebound patients.... we will get through this πͺπ @nhsfife
The relief this wee vial has brought to our most vulnerable..tears in the eyes of some, grateful thanks from all. Well done and thank you to all involved in supporting us #districtnurses to enable a widespread outreach to those in @nhsfife@RCNDNForum@WeDistrictNurse
They're trying to tell us that today is Blue Monday....
No its not! None of us need to be hearing that π
Its a regular Monday and its a day closer to all of this being over ππ₯
Make today a good day... and if anyone is on depressing January diets or dry January stop now π
I did some more visits for the community nursing team today. It was lovely, but I really noticed the increased complexity as we try and keep patients safely at home to ease pressure on the hospitals. Well done community nurses, and thanks for your support. #communitynursing
My lovely MIL 2B made these...bag for syringe pumps and hearts to replace the multiple hugs we @Districtnurses would normally give to both those receiving palliative care and their loved ones...to say, we care. Thankyou @pammiemck there are no words @RCNDNForum@nhsfife
Feeling inspired and motivated after a Teams session held by @AngelaHWigham and @deborah_wilson_ about post graduate study towards a career in #healthvisiting. I'm grateful to have chosen a career in nursing where the opportunities are endless ππ @nhsfife @GemMac_RM_HV_QN

I was prompted by @JudithGemmell yesterday to consider #infantmentalhealth and today I seen this article... it has definitely me thinking. I'm sad to say, I feel this situation will be one of many. Such devastating impacts this virus has had on all aspects of everyone's lives
Staff saw children returning to nursery in wellies despite the summer heat, complaining of hunger and suffering anxiety from being outside again. https://t.co/oJFnVPgG9t

@GemMac_RM_HV_QN @ScottishHV @JudithGemmell @WeHealthVisitor @ProfSarahCowley My dream job! I've just qualified, with 6 months paid placement within a district nurse team. My NQP post is a community staff nurse, which I am very happy about. Would you suggest I gain experience as a community staff nurse and complete Flying Ftart before applying? Thank you x
