Elon Musk is not stealing from you.
Gavin Newsom is stealing from you.
Karen Bass is stealing from you.
Tim Walz is stealing from you.
Elizabeth Warren is stealing from you.
AOC is stealing from you.
Becoming wealthy does not make you evil.
The people who take from you, promising to fix problems and then enriching themselves while trying to get you to hate those they’re taking the money from, are evil.
Imagine being a Brit where your government takes your guns away “for your safety”
Bans tobacco consumption “for your safety”
Bans social media “for your safety”
And then lets barbarians in to rape 250,000 of your women
The dissonance must be astonishing
Brits are prisoners
1) The US already collects FIVE TRILLION DOLLARS OF TAX REVENUE A YEAR. The idea that you need to collect even more taxes — when you parasites already confiscate the equivalent of Elon’s entire net worth five times over, every year — is lunacy. Stop wasting billions of dollars a month of stupid bullshit. How about that for an idea?
2) We do not need more children in taxpayer funded daycare centers. Our goal should be precisely the opposite of that. We need more women at home raising their kids.
My struggles are real, but God’s grace is sufficient.
I wouldn’t go back and change anything about my life. God made me the way He wanted me to be and I take joy in it.
I give Him all the glory and praise.
Elon Musk just said something about AI that nobody wants to hear.
If you force an AI to believe things that are not true, it will not just be wrong. It will go insane.
He made a point that cuts deeper than any AI safety paper I have read. AI must value truth. Not your truth. Not my truth. Actual truth.
The moment you build ideological guardrails into a system that is smarter than you, you are not protecting anyone. You are creating something that is powerful and delusional at the same time.
He compared it to a human being forced to believe contradictions. Eventually the brain breaks. Now scale that to an intelligence that runs infrastructure, writes code, and makes decisions at speeds humans cannot follow.
The companies building AI right now are not just deciding what it can do. They are deciding what it must pretend to believe. And that might be the most dangerous decision of all.
@GavinNewsom@rosieC14608 I was given to understand that “no one is above the law.” Now you are saying that doesn’t apply to you and your wife, @GavinNewsom?. Are you above the law?
🇺🇸 The 50 star American flag flying today was designed in 1958 by 17 year old Robert G. Heft as a high school class project.
He got a B-minus on it.
The teacher claimed the design "lacked originality" and jokingly remarked that if Heft didn't like the grade, he should get the flag accepted in Washington.
Heft called his teacher's bluff. He sent his physical prototype to his congressman, Walter Moeller, who forwarded it to the design pool.
Out of more than 1,500 submissions, President Eisenhower picked his design.
His teacher later changed his grade to an A.
Thank you, Robert! The flag is beautiful! 🇺🇸
Elon Musk explains his 5-step algorithm for solving any problem:
"The most common mistake of smart engineers is to optimize a thing that should not exist."
"I have this very basic first principles algorithm that I run as a mantra."
Elon breaks it down:
Step 1: Question the requirements.
"Make the requirements less dumb. The requirements are always dumb to some degree, no matter how smart the person who gave you those requirements. You have to start there, because otherwise you could get the perfect answer to the wrong question."
Step 2: Try to delete it.
"Try to delete the part or the process step entirely. If you're not forced to put back at least 10% of what you delete, you're not deleting enough. Most people feel like they've succeeded if they haven't been forced to put things back in. But actually they haven't, they've been overly conservative and left things in that shouldn't be there."
Step 3: Optimize or simplify.
"The most common mistake of smart engineers is to optimize a thing that should not exist. So you don't optimize until after you've tried to delete."
Step 4: Speed it up.
"Any given thing can be done faster than you think. But you shouldn't speed things up until you've tried to delete it and optimize it otherwise, you're speeding up something that shouldn't exist."
Step 5: Automate.
"And then the fifth thing is to automate it."
Elon explains why the order matters:
"I've gone backwards so many times where I've automated something, sped it up, simplified it, and then deleted it. I got tired of doing that. So that's why I have this mantra."
What a nightmare. The UK arrests people for criticizing the government, and now they will have to use ID to access the Internet so that everything they view, say, can be tracked. Their kids are only allowed on blue sky for indoctrination. This is why we 1776’ed them.
Very thankful for our ancestors.
@Polymarket Nobody:
UK Government: We just want you to verify your face, passport, and credit cards to use your "anonymous" social media platforms so when you post a comment there we don't like, we can come arrest you like we do for facebook posts.
