@Jstevens009 I just found this as I am going into my sons 3rd grade class tomorrow to talk about my career. I’m using it and I’m excited to see what happens.
#mtbos I'm visiting my sons 3rd grade class to read a book and do an activity. I teach high school math. Would love book and activity suggestions - something open ended, possibly with patterns or linking cubes? Something hands on maybe... I'm open to ideas #iteachmath

This was a fun activity to put together. It was inspired by a worksheet I found online several years ago.

Skip the tricks and gimmicks! Use special right triangles to teach the unit circle. No memorization required! #mtbos#iteachmath https://t.co/vwZ1E3BmWt
Logarithms are exponents. Nothing more. Nothing less.
Hope this helps my Ss better see this fact for themselves. 👀 https://t.co/xMILes9r4w @geogebra#MTBoS#ITeachMath#math#mathchat
@MathByTheMt I’m in a similar position. I did desks facing in on both sides and facing front across the back. I have 9 facing in on right, 9 on left and 15 across the back. Desks are all the way up to the walls and my desk. It’s tight.
@MsMessineo @CplDaughter Do they know distribution? You can teach them to distribute the first parentheses into the second and then distribute the numbers into the parentheses after - if that makes sense.
