@andrear90835875@MisssNallely @rabea_qamar Hey Andrea! I agree with you. it’s sad to see that stereotypes are recruitment view points. rather than looking at talents these recruiters only look at certain stereotypes. @MisssNallely @rabea_qamar #ucr150
student athlete may get in the way of school work With the lack of focus in classes can hurt a students grade Durning their sport szn there is more class missed due to the fact that there is more travel, and more practice https://t.co/d0P6iXOBnc #ucr150@MisssNallely @rabea_qamar
@andrear90835875 @rabea_qamar @MisssNallely I agree , the insinuation and NCAA should be able to provide the motivation for these students to do well in school before even talking about games and playoffs. If these students don't have any motivation for schoolwork it will only hurt them #ucr150@MisssNallely @rabea_qamar
NCAA makes about $1 billon a year but still has the audacity to not give a single cent to their atheletes. When in reality these students are making the program to even continue growing. If student fall out of line they are at fault with consequences. #ucr150@MisssNallely
@kathleen_alv @rabea_qamar @MisssNallely Hi Kathleen ! I agree with you, I feel like NCAA is mostly looking out for themselves rather than the athletes. Its no surprise that this rule is benefitting NCAA mostly. @MisssNallely @rabea_qamar #ucr150
In this article coaches begin to give out their opinion on the right or wrong view point of the one-time transfer waivers They believe that if students are allowed to transfer all the time they will do this which is unfair#ucr150

@Ryansuga7 @rabea_qamar @MisssNallely Hi Ryan I 100% agree with you ! it crazy how many concussions football players do get. I read in an article that the football community is trying to invent new and safe helmets for future players @MisssNallely @rabea_qamar #ucr150
Cheerleading is all fun and games until a concussion is involved. Concussions are usually led by the stunts they do in order to perform. Most of these athletes get flown in the air without any precautions and soft surfaces #Ucr150 @rabea_qamar @MisssNallely
@btoledo50@MisssNallely @rabea_qamar That is a sad truth in the sports world we live in. We can even see this treatment on how these top insinuations put more praising and effort into the mens game day vs. a women game day. Which doesn't make sense because out of the college athletes, most are women.
Its sad to see that there are still differences between male and female pay. For colleges we can even see that there is a huge difference between female coaches and males. In this article they stated that "mens are just far more profitable than women" https://t.co/DVnTP1ckrl
@adrianakl98@MisssNallely @rabea_qamar I 100% agree with you! I feel that these student athletes are not even focusing on their schooling because every year has to feel like they are fighting for a spot on a team rather than concentrating on their school work. @rabea_qamar @MisssNallely#Ucr150
It was shocking to see that if a student signed a letter of intent (LOI) they are now practically owned by the school. In this news article, a student got out of LOI and it cost him a year of eligibility which is cruical to his career #ucr150@MisssNallely @rabea_qamar
@Adams_Shawntell @rabea_qamar @MisssNallely I wouldn't agree about "modern slavery" because most of the time these students want to be there. But I do think this is more of a false advertisement. These coaches are giving their athletes that they will make it "pro" when in reality on 2% make it. @rabea_qamar @MisssNallely
it is shocking to see that student athletics with scholarships are still getting the bare minimum to survive in their colleges. some are out of state and having to sill pay out of pocket https://t.co/etHfjalod6 @MisssNallely @rabea_qamar #Ucr150
@noeliahidalgo22@helloJuJudy I agree 100% student athletes already work hard and have a busy schedule just for NCAA and the colleges to just make profit out of their students. I think there needs to more consideration and appreciation for these hard working students @MisssNallely @rabea_qamar
