@MariaDales5 @psyc220 #CD7 @psyc220 I completely agree! Children learn from their parents. The actions they take in front of their children can be passed on to the children.
@milanohrjmu @psyc220 #CD7 @psyc220 I completely agree with your points! As a researcher a lack of representation could really hurt your research. Representation is crucial for accurate research.
to educate my child on their privilege and those without this privilege. Instead of pushing stereotypes of marginalized groups onto children I will educate my children about those marginalized groups and how to support them. 2/2

My goal is to be a parent. As a parent you shape a lot of your child's beliefs. Many parents may project stereotypes onto their kids which may lead the kid to grow up with oppression beliefs and stereotypes against marginalized groups. As a parent I would like 1/2
@psyc220 #CD6 Socioeconomic status and race can intersect. The youtube video showed many examples of how an African American man of lower socioeconomic status was penalized over the middle class white woman despite the fact that he and the white women did the same things (1)

@jesszoggpsych @psyc220 @psyc220 #CD5a I completely agree. Mental health is very serious and while there has been some improvement like you stated, there should be more.
