Today we @OfficialNMCCE students had our 1st exam. It was extremely horrifying to see so much of crowd (2000+) gathering together. No covid protocols were being followed. College is playing with the lives of its students.

Autonomy was granted to Colleges in Mumbai for achieving higher standards of education.However, they have abused their autonomy to create a case of ‘casus omissus’ to compel thousands of students to face offline examination while all others would be undergoing examination online.
NM,Mithibai, Jay Hind & Xaviers giving deaf ears to students say & In all this the State Government has abdicated it’s constitutional duty of ensuring equality before law and is watching the ruckus like a helpless onlooker – a moment of shame for the Government!
@CMOMaharashtra
If these autonomous colleges are so adamant for offline exams,giving eg.of board exams,why don’t they follow the process they followed? @maha_governor@samant_uday@Uni_Mumbai it is a chaos created by you now resolve it for the future of these students @mnsadhikrut
@MumbaiPolice As this was the circular from Public health dept.That there is new variant possibilities and even @MahaDGIPR has announced section144 till 8thApril.Few colleges in mumbai are planning to take offline exams and causing mass gathering.Covid can attack students as well
Mumbai University is ready to conduct online exams,then why autonomous colleges discriminating.
It's my request to all those colleges who are adamant on their decisions of taking offline exams,take a decision in the interest of the students.
