I rewatched the Leopold Aschenbrenner and Dwarkesh Patel interview to see how much of the thesis has already started playing out.

It’s incredible how prescient that interview was.

I’m updating my price targets for $KEEL and other data centre / power infrastructure plays. Data centres and power infrastructure are going to become increasingly strategic assets. The release of Claude’s Fable model only reinforces my strong belief that compute power demand is not coming down for a very long time.

Then add the 2028 BTC halving event into the mix. BTC Mining becomes twice as expensive, power economics shift, and a lot of existing power infrastructure becomes far more valuable if it can be converted into high performance compute.

There will be a rush from hyperscalers to secure these power/compute assets and there will also be a rush from the asset holders themselves to convert from crypto mining / energy infrastructure into HPC. Its playing out already, the most intelligent ones made moves a couple years ago.

What do you think all these large companies are going to spend their IPO money on?

I believe my estimates have been too conservative, the tailwinds for this sector will be more like a tailstorm, combine that keel execution + momentum and we could have some interesting price movements to say the least.

I made the mistake of thinking $RKLB wouldn’t hit $20 before Neutron’s first hotfire, and that taught me to look further ahead instead of focusing too much on the next obvious catalyst. Since then, I’ve learned to pay more attention to broader sector themes, and right now I think the AI / power infrastructure sector has insane growth potential, even more than the space theme, at least over the next several years
