Trump’s price increases over the last year:
Gasoline: +41%
Airline fare: +27%
Energy: +24%
Tobacco: +8%
Fruits & veggies: +6%
Car repair: +6%
Clothing: +5%
I’m convinced that you can get pretty damn far in life by just doing the old fashioned things well. Stand up straight. Look people in the eye. Do what you say you'll do. Be on time. Have a confident handshake. Be kind. Few live up to this standard. It’ll never go out of style.
16 years ago today, the Supreme Court erased the limit on how much the wealthy and big corporations could pump into elections.
Since Citizens United, we've seen billions of dollars of dark money drowning out the voice of American voters.
I introduced a Constitutional amendment to overturn this decision and put political power where it belongs: with the American people.
It’s hard to believe a president would time an illegal military attack to distract the public’s attention, but today is the statutory deadline for DOJ to release its report on the Epstein file production. Maybe it is just a coincidence.
So Trump just launched a military operation to capture Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, who has been indicted on drug trafficking charges … five weeks after he pardoned former Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernández, who had been convicted of drug trafficking charges
Source: Former UCLA interim coach Tim Skipper has agreed to a five-year deal to be the head coach at Cal Poly. Skipper led UCLA to wins over Penn State, Michigan State and Maryland as UCLA's interim and led Fresno State to a bowl last year as that school's interim.
#CollegeFootball is broken. Everyone knows that #NIL collectives & the #transferportal are problems. Now add coach hiring. There needs to be a major shift in the timeline. Move signing day until after playoffs/bowl season. Move the one transfer window until after spring classes.

“California Highway Patrol vehicle damaged following live ammunition demo over I-5 freeway near Camp Pendleton”
https://t.co/nZ60ChPuD9
The I-5 freeway will be shut down between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. today after a sudden CHP announcement.
The Marines at Camp Pendleton have been firing live rounds and training beneath I-5 for over 50 years — without closing the freeway. There is zero reason for this sudden shutdown.
This isn’t just an inconvenience — it’s going to cause medical emergencies to be delayed, workers to miss shifts, and families to have their plans and events ruined.
It sure looks like Gavin Newsom is trying to use the U.S. Marine Corps’ 250th anniversary to create chaos and score political points. If that’s the case, it’s a petty stunt that will only hurt Southern California drivers and families.
