@Tesla In close traffic, poisonous gas spewing from the car in front of you goes straight into your AC intake. Good thing gas/diesel carmakers didn’t cheat on their emissions or we’d be in real trouble 😅
Premier Ford cares more about wasting taxpayers' dollars on court cases and stickers than on taking climate action and helping Ontarians save money. It's misguided, shortsighted, and irresponsible — and Ontarians deserve better. https://t.co/mSB4QgRS9W
Thank you @joe_cressy for the new traffic signal at Richmond & Simcoe. My daily commute is now much safer. Also thanks to @CycleToronto & @RupasingheKevin for pointing out that Cressy made it happen
If you're worried about debt being left to our kids, you're probably outraged by the price they'll pay for climate inaction. We need to do more, not less. In the face of what we're seeing across the country, doing less is shortsighted and unconscionable. #ClimateActionNow
As of today, it’s no longer free to pollute anywhere in Canada. Canadians understand that climate change is real and they want us to act. That's why we're putting a price on pollution and working with Canadians to make life more affordable. #ClimateActionNow
Climate change is real. That’s why we’re making big polluters pay, and giving the money right back to Canadians. Claim your Climate Action Incentive when you file your taxes this year. Learn more: https://t.co/bOc19k4qbB
Premier Ford meddled with Hydro One, resulting in termination fees of $137 million. As the @TorontoStar has said, *no one but Ford* can be blamed for this squandering of millions. His specialty, his forte, is ‘waste and abuse.’ This tweet is galling.
@DowntownYonge@Springboard_ Thanks for sharing. Adding the monthly YOY percentage increase or decrease in traffics counts by type would be interesting.
@GRTownley@TPS_BikeHart Please let us know what tickets were issued to the driver who reversed into you. Thanks for all your hard work. It is appreciated.
Agree with @jen_keesmaat, golf courses are a very inefficient use of public land in densely populated areas. This land should be opened up so that more people can enjoy it, in a wider variety of ways.
We have an opportunity to take the public land currently occupied by City-owned golf courses and turn it into space that the public can access year-round without having to pay for access. Read more: https://t.co/AooBFNcVSu #Keesmaat4Mayor#TOpoli
Has it ever been more clear that we need an updated federalism that includes towns and cities?
Not holding my breath, but the root cause here is trying to govern a urbanized country with an agrarian constitution. Can't fix 21st century problems with a 19th century toolbox.
@gutstrung @CycleToronto I would also like to know the cause of the crash. After the crash there was a @boulevardclub employee on the bike path managing traffic, perhaps they know what happened.
@VisionZeroCA@mammolitiward7 Mammoliti sounds like someone wanting to turn the clock back to the 1950s. Cities are bigger, people want to be healthier. No thank you, not interested in the 1950s era thinking @mammolitiward7
