Monster mothership supercell, rotating wall clouds, and hail core punch on the only #tornado warmed storm in Oklahoma so far. This storm crossed the Red River into southwestern OK #Dominator#stormchasing@accuweather
⛈️ The storm I witnessed yesterday near Clarendon, Texas, is hands down one of the most incredible ones I’ve ever seen! Those bright blue bands were so vibrant. I haven’t seen such bright blue banding like that since a hail storm in Iowa in 2022.
The blue hues are caused by the scattering of sunlight by ice crystals and water droplets high in the storm clouds, especially during the “golden hour” when the sun’s angle enhances those vibrant colors. I’d trade nearly any tornado I’ve seen in the past two years for this—honestly, I could care less about tornadoes. I just want to see the coolest or most interesting thing out there.
I wish I had more time to stand under this thing.

This video illustrates the "levante" phenomenon on the Rock of Gibraltar. The "levante" is an east wind carrying moisture from the Mediterranean. When it encounters the rock's steep terrain, it rises, cools, and condenses, creating clouds, mist, and fog.

From tropical disturbance to a devastating Category 4 hurricane in two and a half days.
Hurricane Helene's incredible evolution from the Caribbean Sea to Florida coastline.
Complete devastation in Keaton Beach, Florida from a combination of extreme wind and a 15+ foot storm surge. Don't ever expect to see another hurricane named Helene again.
