ELIZABETH WILLIS – VOLLEYBALL ATHLETE
November 6, 2025. East Bridgewater’s Freshman Elizabeth Willis is a 6’1” Middle and Outside Hitter on the varsity volleyball team and recently named as a 2025 South Shore League All-Star. Elizabeth is one of the key and important reasons for the success of the Vikings who are currently 21-1, which is the best record in school history. East Bridgewater finished the 2025 regular season as the South Shore League Sullivan Champions and are the number 2 ranked team in the MIAA Power Rankings and Tournament in Division 4 Massachusetts High School Volleyball. Her talent and skills are undeniable, and she keeps growing with development in making her an on the radar prospect already in her early high school career as a volleyball college prospect. Elizabeth Willis is a tall presence up front and it has become common in the 2025 season for her to have double digit games in kills. 2 games that have stood out were against Bourne when she had 21 kills and against Rockland making 20 kills in the game. Elizabeth has also become a force making blocks up front and serving aces in the back court. She started playing volleyball in 7th grade and was on the freshman team and mainly started playing volleyball because she liked playing with friends and has continued to love it ever since. She made varsity in 8th grade and contributed to the team’s Elite 8 run last season in 2024 that finished 15-6.
Other than volleyball, Elizabeth Willis keeps her jumping skills in shape by being part of the East Bridgewater High School indoor and outdoor track and field teams. She placed third in high jump in the spring 2025 outdoor Division 5 Massachusetts State Championship Meet. The sky is the limit for her athletic ability.
