This oneโs a blast from the past. My very last landing on the 767. Saturday 21 Dec 14. Video taken by a good mate and fellow 767 driver in the back seat.
Gee it was an awesome machine!
@JacintaAllanMP What a derelict state you lead. Nearly a decade behind the technology available in NSW. You and your predecessor have been a hand brake on Victoria for way too long.
@BloodsBorn Mate of mine is originally from SA. He reckons the chip on the shoulder and victim hood that somehow the eastern states are doing stuff without them or speaking about SA behind their backs is a real thing.
@LachlanB_ Longish landing! Thatโs just shy of 2,000โ!
Mind you, on the longest runway in Australia not many people care too much unless there is someone up your backside and ATC want you off on one of the high speed taxiways.

Poor Taylor. Gun footy player being let down by his body. Hopefully itโs not too bad but I fear this is the end of the road.
Go well dude.
Standard Operating Procedure on the A330 and A380 when temperature is 31 degrees Celsius or hotter.
Did they fix it on the A350? Iโll find out in a couple of months time either way.
FCOM Quote:
On ground, hot weather conditions may cause overheating to be detected around the bleed ducts in the wings, resulting in AIR L(R) WING LEAK alert. Such warnings may be avoided during transit by keeping the slats in CONF 1, when the OAT is above 30ย ยฐC.
By comparison, what are the number of votes of Bass supporters that had their votes rejected. The percentage should be roughly similar youโd think?
Unless this is just another of those โstatistical anomaliesโ that for some inexplicable (and totally not fraudulent) reason goes against the preferred outcome for the Democrats?
@ShariArnold2022@BuzzPatterson Thatโs because heโs likely young and inexperienced. Most of salts shrug their shoulders and say if youโre not happy with it, go around. There might be lots of good reasons for it. I think LAX was windy that day?
@Oksmartguy@BuzzPatterson Could be a multitude of things. Might have been a slight over flare, might have been a decent gust (I think LAX was windy that day). The A380 has a very, very good wing so small gusts create a lot of extra lift. Might have been a training flight, etc.
