I have a great family. We serve one cat, an American longhair. I am in the IT field, now for 30+ years. I like Old Time Radio (OTR), and reading/writing.
@ericarhodes This is really something you should ask your English Professor, not your therapist. I can give you the number for mine if you don't have one. She's $150 an hour, and offers free bottled water.
@ericarhodes Eesh. I hate wearing wet clothes. I spilled a coke in my lap sitting on the plane at Dulles before it took off to Italy, and had to sit in that mess the entire trip.
@rebeccawatson@Hyundai We have a Prius PRIME and a Polestar 2. Highly recommend both, but Toyota did recently get slapped for faking their mileage data, like VW a few years ago. Polestar (and Volvo) are now owned by a Chinese company. We see a lot of Rivians around our neighborhood. Ioniqs, too.
@ConsultingCso Yes. Just stating a fact some may think is counter-intuitive. The PEW research (haha) does not say how many of the suicides were committed by gun permit holders, or by those who associate with them. I know of two people who died by handguns: one murdered (DV), one self-inflicted.
@geostylegeo If 51% of people want to be open to immigrants, in a Democracy we will be open to immigrants. The phrasing of this is funky, in that you could also ask if people should be forced to pay taxes. I mean....yes. But to Libertarians, no: it's government-sponsored violence.
@geostylegeo I said yes, but this is only for democracies. If we were in a Totalitarian state, I would say no. We, the People, are the government. If the People want to accommodate immigrants, then yes. If not, no. But there will always be those who are outvoted. Phrasing of question is ????.
