@ShamsCharania The clear fits here are @Timberwolves and @DetroitPistons. Two of the worst teams in the league last here that weren't efficient in the midrange that need to some offensive firepower. https://t.co/Bp93y2barJ
@sam_d_1995@sam_d_1995@ZohranKMamdani has proposed some great policies and hired some great people thus far. However, it is terrifying that he selected someone like Cea Weaver for an important post in the administration. It has also created an unnecessary distraction. Whatโs your take?
@maxdubler Frank Gehry should have never been built in an urban environment, because he had zero respect for the urban form. His stand alone buildings in park setting were more sculptural pieces that didnโt have to respect their environment and therefore were significantly less offensive.
@ShamsCharania Milwaukee gets control of its pick or New Orleans the next two seasons. Gets three firsts + emerging all star + Atlantaโs first round selection from 2025 (Asa Newell). Orlando gets a high gravity point guard to open up their offense.
@createstreets I love this. However, it is rarely economically feasible unless it is in a very high-rent district or involves massive subsidy. Unfortunately, unless you are doing boutique condo or luxury hotel or the government is subsidizing the project. the numbers donโt pencil.
@lawsonhmansell@mattyglesias@ZekeEmanuel@nytimes Maybe also pay residents a #livingwage and donโt work them around the clock. Unfortunately, in the US, becoming a doctor/being a resident in an urban area is only for children of wealthy parents.
