@cwhend It would definitely push back the break even point. My view, though, is that there will be too high of a political price to pay for Congress to do nothing.
@thatbayridgeguy Disappointing that more patients didn't receive IO therapies. Shouldn't impact approval. Could be harder for NVCR to convince doctors w/o more data.
A recession is coming... eventually.
@WilyLewis and @asitmap break down what housing data reveals about the big macro.
Plus, Dana Corl and @keithspeights take a look at weight loss drugs hitting the market.

@thatbayridgeguy I’ll reserve judgment until the full data comes out. But any treatment that improves OS in NSCLC vs chemo and immunotherapy has a big market potential, IMO.
@MonicaCrowley The FDA data also identified specific reasons why the Pfizer data could be different (i.e., a lot more nursing home patients). Finally (and importantly): "FDA strongly believes the potential benefits of COVID-19 vaccination outweigh the potential risks of COVID-19 infection."
@thatbayridgeguy He’s right that it’s going to take a while to see the revenue growth from a new indication. I just think that the stock will rise more than he projects on positive news in January and other potential good results later next year.
@thatbayridgeguy I think there’s a lot of potential for MRNA’s cancer vaccine. But it’s only in phase 2 right now. Meanwhile, Optune/TTFields is already proven for 2 cancer types with 4 phase 3 studies underway.
@FarLeftLibNutMo This wasn’t a commentary on Biden’s policies or minimizing the impact of inflation. It simply was a look at what the SS COLA would be based on the 1st 2 months of Q3 and if current CPI-W trends continue.
@FarLeftLibNutMo The article’s headline and premise emphasizes that the actual COLA is based on Q3 but calculates what it would be as of now. There is no “inflation agenda.” If the CPI-W declines again as it has for 2 months, the COLA will be lower.
@FarLeftLibNutMo The article you're referencing was about Social Security. The key inflation metric used by SS (CPI-W) was lower in Aug. than it was in July & lower in July than it was in June. If this trend continues into Sept., the SS COLA will be lower than expected -- as the article stated.
@ModestMufasa I don’t question the timing of the Reuters report since the EU had just announced the change to Nuvaxovod’s label. However, I do think the reaction to the report was way overdone.
