One of my fellow flight attendants picked up my 4 day work trip i was trying to get rid of, and i literally started crying tears of joy. For a moment i believed in god

Your legacy will live on forever ❤️ Thank you to everyone who has reached out, shown love, support and has done incredible tributes for Oliver. The constant love, support and positivity is helping the family, friends and collaborators make it through these extremely difficult times.
Oliver is now back in California where he can finally rest. His legacy will live on through his foundation/endowment named “Dr. Oliver Tree’s Extremely Epic Grant For Baby Geniuses” coming soon. This is something that Oliver had put together before his passing, written in his will. We will make sure his wish comes to fruition so that more joy, love and art can be spread into the world, that was his final wish.
Love you all so much, Oliver would be so proud of every one of his supporters, friends and family.
Peace be with Oliver … ❤️
Online cheering cuz you too good for Spirit Airlines while thousands of people lost their jobs overnight, folks travel plans got ruined and airline prices are about to be even more egregious
For perhaps the last time: No one can afford to cheer for Spirit’s demise.
Their presence forced other carriers to lower fares for years - yes, even AA, Delta & United.
What a sad end to a pioneering airline. Combined with fuel prices, we’re entering a new era of higher fares.
so you're telling me spirit airlines was in trouble, knew they had to do something, and attempted to participate in the free market by allowing jetblue to acquire them.
the government then stepped in and said, “no, you’re not allowed to participate in the free market, " denying the acquisition.
so then spirit, knowing that they were about to fail, seeks a government bailout, only to be told, "no, you must participate in the free market” to which they were denied participation in.
this doesn’t seem like free market capitalism to me.
RIP to Spirit. Idc about anyone else’s personal (and elitist) feelings toward the airline.
Flying is still public transportation, and travel should not be reserved solely for the privileged.
I just got chills about that spirit airlines news this country is bout to see so much more of this that’s soooooo fucking wild all those people just lost their jobs
