GCSE revision shoeboxes full of questions. Just shake them up and students pick on someone. Easy starter for the rest of term!

[Kelly Brown @kellybrown89]

@MissWhiteRQT @Team_English1 Tell tale heart!

[Kelly Brown @kellybrown89]

@abbiejoan_ Currently knee deep in bones on prime. There are 12 seasons to get through so it's nice and 'meaty' (pun totally intended!)

[Kelly Brown @kellybrown89]

@jacesicarus @MrsFarbus I am a beautiful, sad whore apparently 😂😂😂

[Kelly Brown @kellybrown89]

@abbiejoan_ Go for it! I become joint second in dept in my RQT + 1. If your HOD is confident then that says it all really!! X

@MissZLHx @fod3 @Team_English1 Beatrice & hero fromuch ado when looking at women?

[Kelly Brown @kellybrown89]

A study we did inspired by my dictionary corner. Something I fully believe makes a difference to students and something I will always continue to do in my classroom

[Kelly Brown @kellybrown89]

@Mrs_Tinkler You'll be amazing! Miss you too! Will have to catch up soon. Come over for baby snugs! Xx

[Kelly Brown @kellybrown89]

@blodwyn22 @Team_English1 @GCSE_Macbeth @eltvasconcelos @shadylady222 @DoWise @JamesTheo @EDmerger @tstarkey1212 Ooh it's amazing. It's like an interactive telling of the story. You tell the story and point to kids to play certain characters. They have to respond to what you say and occasionally say lines. If you google there should be examples of them online!

[Kelly Brown @kellybrown89]

@EngChatUK Quizlet for independent learning. I also get them to fill in the blanks and try to get them to link images to quotes. Then eventually they just need the image until they know the quotes by heart!

[Jb5Jane @Jb5Jane]

Today in Y6 we looked at poems that could be read forwards & backwards. I was stunned by this one written by one of my 10 year olds. Please share - I would love her work to be appreciated further afield. I wonder if it could even find a publisher?

[Kelly Brown @kellybrown89]

Fair point!!

[Kelly Brown @kellybrown89]

@MsLPitty No but this is an amazing idea!!

[Kelly Brown @kellybrown89]

@MissfEnglish My colleague went as Birnam Wood once? She just dressed as a tree and pinned Birnam wood to herself! Got lots of laughs from KS4

[Kelly Brown @kellybrown89]

@abbiejoan_ 😂😂😂 amen! This and people videoing themselves blinking seductively at the camera!

[Kelly Brown @kellybrown89]

@shadylady222 Ere, ere if you're from Somerset 😂
