HUGE congratulations to MVLS final year medical student Caitlin Stuart-Delavaine who has been named in the @youngwomenscot#30under30 list for her work improving #GBV awareness amongst medical professionals and in medical teaching.
We’re so proud of you Caitlin! 👏🙌
Knowing that this was coming has done little to prepare me for the anger I’m feeling right now.
Yet again a radical unelected group of conservative activist judges has turned the clock back on a fundamental freedom.
The dark twisted world that this will unleash is tragic.
Abortion, which is lifesaving in cases of miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, etc, will now be illegal in many states & even criminal in some & women will die as a result of this decision. So don't tell me you're pro-life.
I will not let our daughters grow up in a world where they have fewer rights than their mothers and grandmothers had in Pennsylvania.
The stakes in this post-Roe world are clear. Either we’re going to safeguard their right to choose, or it’ll be ripped away with no exceptions.
Today, a government in which women have never had an equal voice reached deep into the most private corners of a woman’s life to tell her the choice over what she does with her body is no longer her own. This is America taking a big step backward.
People will still get abortions.
These procedures won't stop just because Roe v. Wade is overturned.
This will only prevent safe, legal abortions from taking place.
Breaking News: The Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, eliminating the constitutional right to abortion after almost 50 years in a decision that will transform American life. https://t.co/bqkMP7tfby
Exciting news here! I’ve officially decided to join the Zaret Lab @pioneerfactors for my PhD thesis work! Couldn’t be more excited to be surrounded by such a talented group of scientists for the next few years
I will say this everyday — and can tell you first hand as a legislator.
@PaHouseDems have introduced nearly FIVE DOZEN gun safety bills.
Republicans who control the legislature have not allowed a vote on even one bill.
