@AbiyAhmedAli A genocidal leader cannot appoint Tigray's interim president alone. According to the international Pretoria Agreement, this is only possible with the TPLF.

Six members of #Congress have urged the #US State Department and United Nations Mission to extend the mandate of the International Commission of Human Rights Experts on Ethiopia (ICHREE).

The lawmakers stressed the importance of investigating human rights abuses in Ethiopia, particularly in #Tigray and #Oromia.

They also called for the support of European and African allies to ensure ICHREE's renewal. “Without US support and diplomatic engagement, ICHREE may not be renewed this year,” they said.

Anyone having been in a conflict/humanitarian disaster area have seen @USAID bags labled «Not for sale» at sale at local markets. Sadly, a small portion of hum aid is diverted by corrupt local handlers. But to suspend aid to all #Tigray for that reason is unheard of!! #Ethiopia
