@tonero_me @jv_goddard@SangitaMyska That still doesn’t negate @SangitaMyska original point. The delay in stepping down most definitely didn’t help. Had Biden done a Mandela, one term to get things back on track and pass on the baton so to speak, might have had the desired effect. Egos got in the way.
@TaussigGail@mimi828 @jahsounds Unfortunately, USA is still too immature to appreciate a female https://t.co/NCQhbFsDWZ chief. It still has the mindset of a school boy who doesn’t want to be outshone by a girl.
@TheSDog45 @BurnerObserv2 @RealDeniseWelch See was already on a Netflix show before she got the RF name -earning her millions - so point are you trying to make?
@mariecgoldman@scarletThreadg1 The main impact on small business with be minimum wage increases. The right thing to do but still an added cost to businesses.
@mariecgoldman@scarletThreadg1 I think most will have minimal change - with the smallest businesses possibly benefiting with the Employment Allowance doubling. But the devil is in the detail as they say.
@Gennaphyr@AshleaDavis @heyletsmakestuf Exact same thing happened to me with my second (and last)! Gosh thought I was unique in having this happen to. Was a horrible experience.
@badbarbiee99@DerekBowe7@RissaRunsThis Also in some countries/on some CC if you hit a spend threshold you get a free ticket (241 tickets) or ticket upgrade. That’s been my source of family international holidays for the past few years.
@NickBuckleyMBE Just an utterly uniformed message. Pray tell - should every ‘group’ start taking responsibility for the actions of others in their ‘group’? Perhaps when next a Mancunian behaves badly we should pull you up ‘to do better’.
@eudaimonia_76 @AbooAyza@lfc_nino@realMaalouf Why? Dogs being in the home is a more recent phenomenon- dog kernels/houses were/are always outside. It was the rise of treating my dog as a baby/child that grew the in home behaviour. So your point is odd at best.
@Chinaka_Chinaka@alehasnaat_@omar_dddg I remember when I was growing up, the aim of a lot of girls aged 16ish was to get a baby so they could get a council flat. Full stop. Teenage pregnancy was seen by some as a right of passage - so yes it was/is a problem.
@Chinaka_Chinaka@alehasnaat_@omar_dddg It’s not about demonising anyone, it is simply a case of ‘take the log of your eye before complaining about the splitter in mine’. People who continuously complain about others yet have a huge challenge in their own space are simply being hypocritical.
@nurseybird1@KirstieMAllsopp@maxcownie_ Private school users are actually paying twice. Already via their taxes and again via the fees. This policy is simply punishing choice and will lead to quite a few unintended yet obvious consequences. Thinking that all private schools are like Eton and Harrow is a fallacy.
@Roisin1992@marcbarry@jhalcrojohnston@bphillipsonMP Honestly- rather than use a stick with serious unintended consequences, use a carrot - to get the access to the facilities that independents have - if the aim really is better education for the children.
