@D3kryption@unity I think the only saving grace currently is “it’s not retroactive”, so it at least sounds like pre-existing games will be separate from this. Again, unless the collection of this info is built into the next engine version, I don’t know how they’re going to track it properly 🫤
@_vladislavzh@UnrealEngine@D3kryption not sure if you were planning to use them or not, but after this, I wouldn’t. From the looks of it, it’s not just an accident that they’re ‘similar’, they’re identical 😬
@D3kryption@ionlands@unity Yeah… I saw this earlier. Maybe I don’t feel so guilty about moving to Unreal anymore. I just can’t get over how weird a move it seems to be
@D3kryption For me, it depends. If they’re cosmetic, then honestly I don’t care, you’re paying for aesthetics. If it’s along the lines of pay to win, then definitely no. Bonus annoyance are battle passes that don’t give you enough of the in-game currency to buy it next ‘season’
@D3kryption@OBSProject@streamlabs Looking through the other comments earlier, there’s something you can get called StreamElements which looks like a first party plug-in for OBS itself, may be worth looking into?
@D3kryption@Sakura_Rabbiter See, told you. Unity is plenty capable of high fidelity visuals, you just need to spend some time setting it up. It does look mint though 😁
@D3kryption@PlayVALORANT Oh bitch please. ‘Twas *I* who raised *you* to a higher level, Mr ‘Cursor placement pointing at the floor as if you’re fighting against midgets’ 😉
Damn. No wonder Cold War can be a pile of shit sometimes if that’s the workplace it’s being generated in. Hopefully the lawsuit will shake up the company a little, sounds like most of the guys there need a reality check, and quick
