Here is what I found in my research of why I think Pixels and Fishing Frenzy will have a collaboration.

1) There is existing code in Pixels that indicate the possibility of a fishing skill.
2) Derick mentioned a cooking in his AMA.

I bought a Fishing Frenzy founder’s pass. Would it be cool to have an IRL fishing trip with 3 key founders? I have my in game fishing net in pixels.

Imagine a fishing skill in pixels? I’ve done research and I suspect that this is going on. I heard on AMAs that you want the core pixels team to focus on key priorities and you’re not a fan of fishing. However perhaps an integration here with Fishing Frenzy would be a win.

My cooking skill is rather low in pixels. Perhaps I can cook some fish to level up?

The majority of the big AAA game studios do this. I’m not surprised at all. It’s the small boutique shops that are so passionate about their product that they risk it all to make a blockbuster product. Then they get bought by AAA game studios and the cycle of mediocrity begins again.
