In partnership with @NDMA_Kenya, we are piloting the #GreenSchools concept in @Baringo_county & @LaikipiaCountyG in the next 12 months. The selected schools, using various innovations, will serve as Climate Action Hubs for local resilience programming among vulnerable communities
@NCIC_Kenya and @adaconsortium have today signed an MoU to promote conflict-sensitive climate adaptation in Kenya. The partnership will foster knowledge sharing and capacity building to jointly advance inclusive, resilient climate action, while strengthening peaceful coexistence.
During the knowledge exchange visit to Germany, supported by @WWF_Deutschland, ADA's @jlosumba presented the results and prospects for building support for increased investment in agricultural adaptation in Kenya to the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Germany.

To explore how to build support for greater investment in agricultural adaptation, we engaged community leaders and county officials from the @WWF South of Kenya, North of Tanzania (SOKNOT) region and its surrounding areas.

Mr. Jimmy Kahindi, Director of Climate Change in Kilifi County, stressed in his remarks, the connection between climate change, agriculture and the environment, as well as the necessity of creating climate projects that increase community resilience and food security.
Our commitment to building strong partnerships remains a priority as we work together to advance climate finance and support locally led initiatives at the community level.
@adaconsortium held introductory meetings with a delegation from the World Bank Group and the FLLoCA Program Implementation Unit (PIU) to kickoff the work on strengthening the capacity of the Participatory Climate Risk Assessment process under the FLLoCA program.

@adaconsortium is excited to be part of the @WorldBank Mission in Nairobi discussing the progress of the FLLoCA Program. Our participation sets the stage for delivery of a 3-year pilot project to deliver Capacity Strengthening for Participatory Climate Risk Assessment on FLLoCA.
We are engaging climate finance actors and communities in @LREB14 to share insights on obstacles and opportunities for expanding access to climate finance. We are also exploring avenues for obtaining more funding for agric adaptation initiatives that address community priorities.
Earlier today, we met with the @WajirKE county executive, to introduce the County Green Facility Preparation Project, which aims to support the county in identifying projects and developing proposals for green investment and sustainable development.
