In a 2009 interview, Hugo Chávez stated that the United States' primary motivation for wanting influence in Venezuela was its vast oil reserves. He argued that the U.S. desired a government in Venezuela that would be subordinate to American interests to secure access to its oil.

I express my profound closeness to the Palestinian people in Gaza, who continue to live in fear and to survive in unacceptable conditions, forced once again from their own lands. Before Almighty God, who commanded “Thou shalt not kill,” and throughout human history, every person always has an inviolable dignity, to be respected and upheld. I renew my appeal for a ceasefire, the release of hostages, and a negotiated diplomatic solution, in full respect of international humanitarian law. I invite everyone to join my heartfelt prayer that a dawn of peace and justice may soon arise.

⚡️🇺🇸🇮🇱JUST IN: U.S. contractor and former Green Beret Anthony Agular, who worked for the U.S.-Israeli-backed GHF, speaks out, sharing the story of a Palestinian child named Amir who went to get aid but was killed, prompting Agular to break his silence:
“On May 28, at secure distribution site #2, this young boy, Amir, walks over to me, reaches out & kisses my hand. This boy is not wearing shoes. His clothes are falling off of him because he is so skinny….He doesn’t have a box, he has half a bag of rice , lentils, and he was thanking us.
He walked 12 kilometers to get there … & when he got there he thanked us for the crumbs he got … & he set them on the ground & his frail, skeletal, emaciated hands, and he kissed me and said 'thank you.'
And then he collected his items, walked back to the group, and then he was shot at with pepper spray, and tear gas, and stunt grenades, and bullets, and he was shot at, at his feet and in the air, and he runs away...and the IDF were shooting at the crowd … they are shooting … and they are shooting into this crowd & Palestinians, civilians, human beings, are dropping to the ground, and Amir was one of them... Amir walked 12 kilometers to get food, got nothing but scraps, thanked us for it, and died.”

The movement of Israeli goods and individuals continues through the Wadi Araba and Jordan River crossings, and the Taba and Auja crossings.
Between June 13 and 21, approximately 40,000 Israelis traveled through land crossings with Egypt and Jordan.

She dreams of peace, of play, of getting her childhood back.
No child should grow up like this.

Israel’s impunity is a danger to the whole world.
