@chrissyfarr Could be that prevalence in the general population is low, meaning that there’s little likelihood that a someone w/o a family hx of the condition will screen positive. So the ROI for the plan only works out if they narrow the screening criteria accordingly.

@nikillinit It’s bc the market dynamics shift over time, and ‘what’s reasonable’ goes along for the ride (to a degree). New treatments become available, drugs go off patent, etc.

@chrissyfarr @Swedish Not so much anymore — kids got older, people (myself included) moved away, etc. But there was definitely an uptick in communications around when people welcomed second babies, and there were occasional get togethers for a few years!
