Which says “Inborn errors of metabolism (IEM) are heterogeneous group of disorders that might present in the clinics or emergency departments in different phenotypes, and one of these is a diabetes scenario.”
@2manypeople4me@speakoutsister “IEM can affect all glands, but diabetes mellitus, thyroid dysfunction and hypogonadism are the most frequent disorders.”

I wish we could go back in time where ai generated images never existed. I miss being able to like any artwork or post that I see, without worrying if it's ai or not. I miss it so much.
No, I do not want the AI overview.
I want to read a Wikipedia page that leads me to another Wikipedia page, and another, and another, and get lost for hours down a completely unrelated rabbit hole as the gods intended.
oh you have a disabling condition? surely you’ve never considered exercise, therapy, finding comfort in the uncomfortable, or simply enduring the pain without making it anyone else’s problem! luckily i am here to give you my very helpful advice which is: i don’t care get over it
@rockrollbuckaro I was in training at a job once and had asked everyone if they were ok with leaving the fluorescent lights off. They were - gravel out!
Then the boss, who I had told I was autistic in the interview, walked in, turned on the lights, and called us all the r-word. Gravel replaced.

I have a theory that alexithymia is so common with autistics because of how much we’re taught to disregard our own sensory needs when they come up starting from a young age. Like we’re literally told that we have worse personalities and lack moral fiber for having sensory issues.
If you tell neurodivergent people they need to "get comfortable with being uncomfortable" I am putting gravel in your shoes. No you can't take the gravel out. You have to deal with it. Dealing with it makes you a better person. What do you mean "pointless suffering".
"I don't want to get or spread a virus that's already killed tens of millions and maimed hundreds of millions" should be a universal position that doesn't induce hostility. This society has already collapsed.

“Shear coined the phrase "Feminism is the radical notion that women are people" in her review of A Feminist Dictionary in New Directions for Women in 1986.”
"Look I asked [AI] and it says"
Not joking even a little bit when I say I'd rather listen to things you heard from a clown you met in a dumpster than anything any AI told you
@Brocklesnitch I had my fourth Mirena put in under partial sedation and it was night and day to every other “idk take some ibuprofen” insertion. I didn’t even have the usual week of angry cramping and bleeding afterward. I won’t go back.
The trans bathroom issue is so funny because it’s the only issue in the world where people understand that ciis men are extremely rapey.
- Ask them about Me Too they go ‘women are liars’
- Ask them about sexual violence they go ‘what was she wearing’
- Ask them about rape culture they go ‘not all men’
But if you ask about trans people? Yeah they know exactly how bad ciis men truly are.
