@DKThomp when assessing if colleges are more liberal in the past, perhaps something consider is that "liberal" and "conservative" have come to mean different things over time. It's possible (but unlikely) that college professors' views haven't changed, just the label definitions

@DKThomp I liked your podcast about college, but I had to mentally add a big asterisk to the cost/benefit numbers because I didn't know how they treated the for-profit college fiasco of the 2000s and early 2010s. That seems like something that could really mess with the numbers.
