In the aftermath of the Iranian strikes on Kuwait Airport, a Kuwaiti military @KuwaitArmyGHQ officer was seen carrying the debris of what is most likely a Mado MD550 engine. The MD550 is a 50-horsepower, four-cylinder, two-stroke gasoline piston engine manufactured in Iran by Mado. It is a reverse-engineered copy of the German Limbach L550E aircraft engine and is widely known as the primary powerplant used in the Iranian-designed Shahed-136 attack drone.
