@LDLSkeptic Thank you for confirming that. Historically, most medical studies were done on men. Perhaps the fact that statins negatively impact women more m (sex hormones, too) is why it’s not so common to find in the medical literature.

@deportriggers @heydave96 I know several type 1, type 1.5 & type 2 diabetics who dramatically lowered their A1c with a high fat ketogenic diet. Many of the type 2 diabetics put their diabetes into remission with a high fat, moderate protein very low carb ketogenic diet. A1c is also not the best marker.

@heydave96 @BenBikmanPhD Leptin resistance is almost always paired with insulin resistance. When you correct for one, the other corrects as well. A high farce moderate protein, very low carb ketogenic diet is your best bet. There are multiple studies that show this.

@DrPaulMason I’ve read that filtering coffee through a paper filter can help with this but I’m not sure of how this person made their coffee. When I drink coffee in Europe, it is usually made from a large coffee machine. I need to have it with milk or cream, otherwise it bothers my stomach.
