As always, a pleasure for our cadets to be invited back to provide a Guard of Honour for the 104th birthday of Flt Lt (Ret’d) Colin Bell DFC. A Typhoon flypast and first hand personal stories from Flt Lt Bell made for an unforgettable experience.

We were delighted to share the 104th birthday celebrations for a dear friend of the Flight, Flt Lt (Ret’d) Colin Bell DFC at the Petwood Hotel last Friday. Colin flew into Coningsby where he was met by AVM Mark Flewin and Gp Capt Paul O’Grady. Happy Birthday Colin!

At the Cenotaph and across the nation, a two minute silence was observed at 11am today to commemorate all those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service of their nation.

Over 200 cadets from 17 schools from the Eastern Area CCF met at the @ShuttleworthTru for the regional heat of the Royal Air Squadron Trophy, with cadets competing in in drill (expertly judged by @qcsofficial), RAF knowledge, aircraft recognition, first aid, and leadership.
The CVQO Westminster Award 2020/21 was incredible. Two insanely deserving winners crowned, but most importantly a time for us all to come together before we go on to the next steps. With two weeks before I join the Army, this was the best way to end my cadet career. THANK YOU 💙
An absolutely brilliant day with our @KEVIGS CWO @belgarrod at the final of the @CVQO Westminster Award held at the @UKHouseofLords. A truly memorable experience, and although not walking away with the trophy you can hold your head high!
I leave @KEVIGS & the mighty @kevigsccf this week after 15 years at my second home. Some huge highlights!
✅7 years as Contingent Commander

Hoping to see @kevigsccf CWO @belgarrod lifting that incredibly gorgeous trophy! 🤞🏆 Will be an amazing experience either way.
Enjoy the day everyone! 🙌🏼 🦁
Please consider donating to our #WestminsterAward finalist @belgarrod who has been hard at work to fundraise for the worthy charities that supported the Cornwall Exped. 🙌🏼
My ‘1 mile, every hour for 12 hours’ (6am to 6pm) challenge is over! So pleased to have completed it for @ShelterBox and @CwallWildlife!
Thank you to those at @CVQO and many others who have supported me and donated so far, it is hugely appreciated 🦁
