@audiosug@DE_Gifford That would be awesome - the cost will be a huge hurdle. At ~$45m per mile (per mile construction cost of the Q-line) it will take ~$900m to get to Pontiac...in 2017 money. Once out of the City, getting to the airport would be a *little* cheaper per mile.
@GrossWeather I would add to have a comprehensive energy audit performed on your home / apartment. This should include blower door testing and thermal imaging. This will allow a plan to be put together to improve the home - it all does not have to be done at once...
@efwendt@mattgrocoff Location can be utility room, kitchen, laundry, ect.
-Turn off gas at valve, remove and cap gas lines
-If doing complete gas removal, call propane company to remove tank.
-Install new electric appliances
@StudentRentPro Then look at having the project panelized (for example https://t.co/5m0tu7K3Ck); this will save some serious time & $. The windows and doors can be installed at the factory...saving time...
@StudentRentPro A dollar spent on design with save thousands in construction. I have been in more multifamily projects that are stopped because of a conflict between framing and plumbing / electric. Have the project fully constructed virtually in 3D BIM drawings.
