Announcing our BFCL benchmark results for OpenAI's structured output, which also tests the *contents* of generated outputs.
1. @OpenAI "strict" function-calling (FC) is slightly worse on the 2024-08-06 model, but better on every prior model.
2. OpenAI handedly beats Anthropic at Function Calling (+15% improvement).
3. Prompt Engineering on Anthropic's Claude 3.5 Sonnet is just as good as OpenAI FC
4. @boundaryML 's BAML is still SOTA at FC on every model. With BAML, even GPT-3.5/Haiku perform at par with GPT4o / Sonnet (-2%)

Some insights on the Sales Culture chapter:
- Establish a Relationship Sales Culture and not a Transactional one
- Sales, support, and customer success should be on the same page and go through the customerโs journey together
- Vested commissions vs transaction-based ones. If a customer churns, sales rep stops getting commissions
- You want people who care about what they are selling and deeply believe in the mission rather than those looking for a quick buck with commissions
In the end, business is defined by the relationship between the people on both sides. The relationship they create and maintain.
Have spent the last couple weeks building customization features for https://t.co/cvXfaTDPbp. Super convinced that great UX is the secret to helping every day users to harness AI and build it into their workflows.
