@CarsonWhitsett That answered literally all of my questions, thanks for putting that together!

[Kevin Glowacz @kevinglowacz]

@CarsonWhitsett I love that you’re sharing these! I have no idea what those flow diagrams do but it looks impressive. Do you happen to be posting these to mastodon as well? I couldn’t find you there yet

[Kevin Glowacz @kevinglowacz]

I created a mastodon account. Link in my profile

GitHub Codespaces is the best thing to happen to my personal coding workflow, maybe ever. The big announcement at #GitHubUniverse is that it is now available to everyone for 60 hours a month for free! https://t.co/JrOU6KSM05

Day 1 Universe recap. Don't worry, there's plenty more tomorrow.

[Kevin Glowacz @kevinglowacz]

I’m so proud of everyone on the Codespaces and Billing teams that made this happen! #GitHubUniverse @github

[GitHub @github]

We’re here to help you push what’s possible: Starting today, we’re rolling out GitHub Codespaces for all, with access to 60 hours of GitHub Codespaces free(!) every month. 🚀

Atom was a great editor! It’s sad to see it being sunset, but honestly VS Code has completely replaced it for me, so it makes sense.

I really only used it for AIM, but I loved customizing the look of Adium. It was one of my first exposures to open source as well!

If only there was a way to combine messenger apps into one.

Signal, WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, Twitter DMs, Messenger, SMS, iMessage, Slack, Teams... it's gotten ridiculous.

We’ve been raising some butterflies for the past few weeks and I’ve never seen the cat so excited as when they started to emerge. Now that we’ve released them all, the cat doesn’t know what to do with herself anymore

So proud of my team’s ship today! After months of work, we hit a milestone improvement on shared storage billing 🎉

[Kevin Glowacz @kevinglowacz]

I get so amused by the auto-generated names for Codespaces on GitHub

[Kevin Glowacz @kevinglowacz]

The scale @github continues to amaze me! I now regularly work with billions of rows of billing usage data

@josh_cheek If you want to go even more Arel heavy you can do something like User.arel_table.coalesce(Post.arel_table[:name], 'n/a')
