@eastdakota Entrepreneurship is a test of courage. It's fun to call VCs assholes, but good minibosses are an existence proof of the journey. It's hard to imagine the ecosystem realistically existing without dismissive capital allocators. Feature not a bug.
People talk about AI companions like they are a solution to human loneliness, but there's an overwhelming about of people already out there today that you can connect with by going on discord or just going outside. I'm not sure how flooding the internet with more addresses this.
Consumer feels something like
1. Find a core underserved consumer problem tied to deep human need
2. Grind to solve the cold start problem in chosen segment
3. Innovate relative to best in class in segment - hopefully low bar if chosen well
4. Scale through paid, must have.
5. Aggregate power, demand, raise margins
Predicting that solitaire is going to be the next $1b esport...
I got into playing solitaire recently, and realized it was kind of the like the OG roguelike. Went down the rabbithole of making it fun and competitive, with super realistic poker cards all in-browser (wgpu). Will do a write up soon on the tech - https://t.co/G6vefW7IYV to try it out.
Today we're announcing our thought-to-search system, morphism. This open-weights pipeline lets you decode your thoughts using only the broadly available @OpenBCI Cyton! Try it now:

I agree LLMs won’t be conscious and the reasons relate to ‘biological naturalism’, i.e. the Orch OR theory on which the first biomimetic quantum computer is based. @anirbanbandyo has made a warm temperature self organizing quantum computer of organic helical aromatic ring oscillators which processes quantum optical information and is likely to be inhibited by anesthetic effects. The future just happened. https://t.co/pIjKc1kZBB
