@terrygparrott @BritishGasHelp @BritishGas When I looked into it after looking at my dwindling bank balance realise it was them, live chat was useless, why didn't they text saying send metre reading as smart reader not compatible with new billing system. Just a way of getting free money from us, incurring bank charges!!!

Had text message December 2023 asking for metre reading, ignored it as on smart metre, so reading goes automatic, then another message in January to send a metre reading so looked into to it, british gas only over estimated it and took the money out the bank. 1/2
