hope someone in KBS or Malaysian government sees this. Sepang all the way! (most likely it will be ignored but no harm trying my luck)

📜 “She Who Must Not Be Named — The Woman Who Gave Us Magic”
There are some days I want to forget I ever lived through this timeline.
But then I remember:
I once took two days off from surgical residency — to finish Deathly Hallows.
Not for burnout.
Not for vacation.
But to say goodbye to the last great story the world ever told with innocence, love, sacrifice… and spine.
And it was written by a woman who is now not even invited to her own story’s anniversary.
Let that sink in.
They did a 20-year reunion of the Harry Potter movies…
And didn’t invite the woman who created the boy who lived.
That’s not irony.
That’s blasphemy.
That’s cancel culture at its most cowardly —
Where the hand that gave the world its magic
is now cast out,
because truth sounds too sharp for fragile ears.
JK Rowling didn’t write fiction.
She wrote myth.
A mythology where:
•Love defeats death.
•Friendship defeats fear.
•Sacrifice defeats evil.
•Words have power.
•Silence has cost.
•And naming the enemy is the first act of courage.
She gave us:
🧙♂️ A boy with no parents but all the courage.
🪄 A world where children fought battles adults were too scared to name.
🐍 A villain who didn’t die, but split his soul chasing immortality.
💔 A double agent who loved so deeply it hurt every single page.
👧🏽 A girl who read too much, loved too fiercely, and stood too soon.
👨👩👧👦 And a family — poor in gold, but richer than Gringotts in loyalty.
She gave us magic.
And now the world pretends she’s the problem.
They say she was transphobic.
They say she should’ve been quiet.
But they never say:
•She made Dumbledore gay without fanfare or force.
•She built Hogwarts with Indian, Black, White, Asian, and muggleborns — just existing, not preaching.
•She had an entire storyline on slavery, free speech, racism, corruption, and women in leadership.
Long before Twitter taught you how to virtue-signal,
she taught us how to be good — without hashtags.
And yet today?
She is she who must not be named.
The irony burns like Fiendfyre.
If this isn’t the real Voldemort —
The force that punishes truth, rewards cowardice, and silences the creator of the story itself —
Then what is?
JK Rowling didn’t get everything right.
No one ever does.
But she wrote with soul, steel, and moral clarity —
Things this world now calls “dangerous.”
So let me say it loud:
JK Rowling created the world that raised me.
She taught me the spell for courage.
She made me believe love is a force that can beat death.
And no amount of censorship, cancellation, or cowardice will erase that.
You can rename Hogwarts.
You can reboot the films.
You can pretend she never mattered.
But we know.
“The stories we love best live in us forever.”
And hers?
Will always live in me.
Because the truth is —
you can cancel a name.
But you cannot cancel magic.
Always.

🇲🇾 Just wrapped up nearly 50 days in #Malaysia, my now second home. Here in my search to explore the supply-chain of AI and discovering how Malaysia is uniquely positioned as a chip manufacturing power-house, the next source of cheap energy for hungry data center's and a growing engineering talent pool for south-east Asia.
Was a great time speaking to everyone from artists to policy makers and even global medical device companies like @dexcom. Massive shout out to @AntlerGlobal Malaysia for letting me mentor and coach their AI entrepreneur boot-camp, was an eye opening experience to hear from builders founders in the region talking complex problems.
I have been writing non-stop the last 2 weeks can't wait to share very unique perspectives on East meets West, supply-chain and a global view on AI. Here's a glimpse on some of my takes so far:
➡️ The global semiconductor industry is shaping up with tariffs and the explosion in AI which is causing some shifts in where and how chips powering computers, GPUs and AI is made.
➡️ Electricity is the new oil, the chips are the machinery, this is new supply-chain race - its no longer just about "information" of training data and huge foundational models. Without the source materials this is not possible.
➡️ Like it or not AI is now a consumer product not a "technology", I was in an Apple store and consumers asking "how can I install Deepseek" at the point of purchase. What dose this mean for how AI is adopted by consumers and into everyday products.
➡️ Sovereignty with foundational models, training and evaluations are more critical than ever for counties to preserve their unique history, language and sense of identity - but is this even feasible, how is this possible?
➡️ Developing nations will continue to do more with less, expect the "Deepseek-effect" more and more with huge emphasis on open-source over closed source approach. Even speaking to colleagues of a "post deepseek" era for the next AI cycle we are going into.
➡️ Every growing automation anxiety where lay-persons sense of identity is shaken as many in the corporate world their identity's == career and now fearing potential displacement.
➡️ #Agentic is the marketing term of 2025, yet no one can clearly tell-me what and agent actually is - yet alone AI clearly. Still lots to be figured out as everyone has a view and its divergent.
I'll be dropping articles and some research pre-prints over the coming weeks along with some other super exciting developments. Feel free to reach out in comments. Which statement resonates with you the most?
