@franbowman1 This is so frustrating! Students make so much progress during intervention but are then given a guided reading level that doesn’t align properly. It discourages them and distracts families from all that wonderful hard work their child has done.

1. Sound walls for teacher learning? Check! This sound wall created by reading specialist Tambra Isenberg was created for teachers & details the vowel valley sounds & corresponding graphemes- note how she added the frequency/percentages of the sound-spellings.
