NEWS: Maye Musk is releasing a new book, Timeless
The book focuses on reinvention, resilience and building a meaningful life at any age.
At 78, Maye continues to challenge the idea that success has an expiration date. Her journey spans decades as a model, entrepreneur and mother of some of the world's most ambitious innovators.
Timeless is scheduled for release in September 2026.
"It's never too late to reinvent your life."
FSD is absolutely jaw-dropping.
You’ve never seen anything like this.
It reversed for a full 7 minutes… right on the edge of a cliff.

John @teslaownersSV , Kelvin @kgee & Joe @SjvTesla were the first to invite an "outsider" from Lucid (me) to the @theXtakeover , formerly, Tesla TakeOver! My Lucid Air DEP was under a tent and that felt appropriate because the EV space should be a Big Tent feel! Great to watch this entire interview with @LucidMotors Corey @CorySteuben as a way to further that tradition! 👏
.@LucidMotors Future Revealed: Cosmos, Earth, Lunar & Robotaxis
We sat down with Cory Steuben
@CorySteuben, Director of Cost Engineering at Lucid, for a deep dive into Lucid’s next chapter, including Cosmos, Earth, Lunar, the midsize platform, and robotaxis.
In this interview, Cory shares an inside look at Lucid’s upcoming platforms and long-term vision — from new vehicle programs to the role of robotaxis in their strategy.
We discuss how cost engineering fits into the bigger picture as Lucid pushes forward in a competitive EV landscape.
Whether you follow Lucid closely, are curious about their next moves, or just enjoy thoughtful conversations about the future of electric vehicles and autonomy, this one delivers real insight.

This @Smokehbear shirt is really special.❤️
Both of these guys have changed my life.
We have Elon who is changing the world with Tesla, SpaceX, Boring, XAI, Neuralink and 𝕏 saving free speech.
Everything I have in my life I literally owe to this man.
And we have John, @teslaownersSV who first introduced me to a wonderful community of like minded people and helped me to realize that humans can be super cool. Along with @kgee and @SjvTesla they’ve worked really hard to make such wonderful things happen for the Tesla and 𝕏 community including @theXtakeover, and they’ve done some amazing things for our local communities as well. I’m very proud to know John. 🫡❤️
🚨BREAKING:
Tesla has been authorized by the State of Texas to operate driverless vehicles commercially under the new law that took effect today, May 28th, 2026. Tesla has officially self-certified the software running on its robotaxis as Level 4. $TSLA
Lars Moravy in new interview on why the @Tesla Model S and Model X were discontinued:
"Every 5 years or so Euro NCAP updates their protocols. Looking forward, they are getting more stringent. Some of the IIHS stuff. We want to make the safety cars on the road, and that means always making structural updates. We were at the point where this platform, like it was never designed for the small overlap and the offset cases that exist now on Europe NCAP and IIHS. We made bandaids along the way to make sure it was being safe in those positions, but it was just like man it's going to be a massive overhaul.
At the same time, going back to the room it was like we were talking about Optimus and like where do we put Optimus and it was like well we got to spend you know however many hundreds of millions of dollars to redo this in this factory, but we also need a pilot factory for Optimus. And it just kind of was like serendipitous. I think that the two things went hand in hand. You said who was the first one to bring it up. The future is autonomous. These cars were the first ones we designed. They're the least ready for that, you know, world. So, we got to move forward."
Sounds like it just wasn't worth the investment, since it was likely going to cost several hundreds of millions to retool and redesign, and maybe even more to build a pilot Optimus factory somewhere else, when it would just make more sense to use the S/X space in the Fremont factory.

If you’re thinking about switching to a Tesla because of high gas prices, don’t do it!
Let me try to talk you out of it.
Full Self-Driving completely ruins the fun of driving. I barely get to drive manually anymore. The car just smoothly takes me from A to B, leaving me with extra time to sit with my thoughts, completely relaxed and stress-free. Terrible.
It parks itself and nails it every single time, which is annoying because I can’t park that well.
No more physical key, so my phone is the key now. That means I can’t collect keychains anymore. Devastating 😩
The ambient lights sync with the music and turn the cabin into a nightclub. I hate clubbing.
There’s no gear stick. The car just knows what to do. You put your foot on the pedal and it figures out whether you should go forward or reverse. No thinking required.
The seats are both heated and cooled, so I don’t even get the nostalgic thrill of butt sweat anymore 🥵
The glovebox has a PIN code, and the car has cameras everywhere, so nobody can break in or steal anything. How am I supposed to live like that?
And now that Grok is built into the car, I literally don’t have to think anymore. I’m getting dumber by the day because it already knows everything.
Oh, and Teslas don’t have an engine, which means you get a massive frunk. Way too much storage. It’s ridiculous.
Then there’s charging on roadtrips. I have to plug in the cable (the horror), wait 5-15 minutes, pay $10–$20, and catch up on work, play games or just chill. Meanwhile I used to spend $100 at the gas station for the privilege of standing around smelling fumes for five minutes. Truly a downgrade.
And before you say “But Teslas catch on fire!”, they’re actually 11 times less likely to catch fire than gas cars. So maybe calm the f*ck down.
Anyway, you’ve been warned. Definitely don’t buy a Tesla! ⚡️🚗 ❌
Jason Cammisa on EV haters:
"If you don't think electric vehicles or electric propulsion is a superior transportation solution, it's because you haven't spent enough time in an electric car; We will run out of fuel at some point. It is a finite resource. Give people the experience of living with an electric vehicle everyday, there's no going back."
